Welcome to OBXultramarathon.com, the home of North Carolina's first Outer Banks
50k distance Ultra Marathon.  The race is scheduled for May 5, 2012. The race is
offered in only one distance this year, a 50k minimalist run from Currituck Beach
Lighthouse to a designated spot along the coast (adjacent the Wright Brother's
Monument in Kill Devil Hills, NC).  In the future I hope to offer a 50 Mile from
Currituck Beach Lighthouse to the Bodie Island Lighthouse.
